The band came 2nd at the Butlins contest at Skegness on Saturday. The result is the best the band has had since it restarted contesting in 2005. The band had an early draw at number 4 but got very positve comments from the two adjudicators Roy Roe and Dr Roy Newsome. The band would also like to congratulate Samantha Northridge on 2nd cornet and Chris Tetley on Eb Bass who played in there first contests with the band. We would also like to thank Smine and Aisha Mokrane and Alan Needham for there contribution to the band as this was there last engagement.
