The band are making their regular pilgrimage to Skegness this weekend for the Butlins contest. We are playing in the 4th section and are playing a piece by Darrol Barry called Contrasts. The band have a number of players making their contests debuts and are also pleased to announce the arrival of Heather Horsley who takes up the Solo Horn position after the contest. The band would like to thank Claire Franklin for agreeing to play for us on Solo Horn this weekend plus many thanks to Jim Akers from Kirkby and James Broadhead from Deepcar who are depping for us at the contest.
